Data Guided Strategy

Brickell City Centre

Opened in 2016, Brickell City Center will ultimately comprise more than 5 million square feet of retail/entertainment, residential, hotel and office space. Lambert provided the market data and analysis of the 500,000 square foot retail component which was the centerpiece of this sustainable urban mixed-use development.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Brickell City Centre is the largest mixed-use development in Downtown Miami, extending over multiple city blocks with linkages along pedestrian corridor bridges over roadways and is programmed to maintain continuous retail activity along upper floors. The Brickell City Centre development plan includes approximately 540,000 square feet of retail center, 800 residential units, 350 hotel rooms, and three office buildings to be built over multiple phases. The project will be the first development in Miami to include large scale underground parking allowing for a substantially enhanced pedestrian experience on the street level both along the perimeter and core of the retail elements of the project.

Lambert Advisory completed an assessment of the approximately 540,000 square foot retail center. The retail, restaurant and entertainment elements of the mixed-use project are being developed on four levels. The principal goal of our analysis was to provide the market data and analysis which highlights the relative market support for the development.

In late 2016, Brickell City Centre opened the retail and entertainment complex, which is anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, along with Cinemex, a luxury dine-in movie theater. Additionally, the 352 room EAST Miami luxury hotel is currently open, as well as the first phase of Class A office and condominium developments.
