PROJECT SUMMARY

The Wharf, a $1.0 billion public/private venture on the Potomac River, is a world-class mixed-use waterfront destination in the heart of Washington, DC. At the crossroads of monumental and local Washington, the vision is to create vital, thriving, activated spaces catering to visitors and residents alike. The development is planned to comprise more than 2.0 million square feet of retail/entertainment, residential, office, hotel and event space.

Lambert Advisory served as an economic and financial advisor to Madison Marquette, one of the members of The Wharf Development team, as it related to the evaluation of a large-scale, full-service hotel development and associated operating agreements.

For The Wharf, Lambert analyzed projected operations prepared by its hotel development partner, reviewed operating agreements and participated in internal meetings and development negotiations. The initial phases of development, including the hotel, is planned to open in late 2017.
